How long does the battery last?
- Depending on the speed setting, the fan runs for 16-40 hours on a full charge. Lower settings maximize battery life, while highest setting provides maximum cooling!
How do I charge it?
- Simply plug it into any USB-C charger or power bank. (Cable included) A full charge takes around 3–4 hours, the LED screen will show battery % as it charges.
Is it shipped from Australia?
- Yes, all orders are shipped from our Sydney Warehouse (Brisbane warehouse coming soon!), using AusPost, with the option of Express if you need it urgently.
How fast is dispatch?
- We try to ship majority of our orders within 1 business day (often same-day). However due to huge order volumes as we head into summer and holiday season, there might be slight delays.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hot weather and I are not friends. I start complaining when the thermometer hits 20! My partner is a tradie who has to work in long pants and long sleeves, and I cringe every morning watching him head off to site knowing how hot he’ll be. Neck fans aren’t suitable for job sites, so we needed a better, safer option. First impressions out of the box were excellent. Everything was packaged neatly and professionally, and the equipment looked tough and sturdy straight away, exactly what you want for tradie use. I purchased two waist fan and magnetic mount bundles…one for me and one for my husband. Even without the magnetic mount, there are already so many attachment options including a lanyard, belt clips, and a leg stand. The magnetic mount is a standout. It makes the fan incredibly versatile so I can simply pick it up and move it with me around the house as I go. With a baby and kids, my hands are often full, so being able to position the fan anywhere easily is such a bonus. The magnetic stand also comes with multiple mounting options, including screw mounting, clipping, or using the non-slip base pad. It genuinely means you can take it anywhere and use it in so many different ways. Both units arrived over halfway charged, so they were ready to use straight out of the box. They also come with a USB-C charging cable, and you can even use them while charging, which is incredibly handy. They’re very easy to use, with five speed settings. You can clip the fan to the front or back of your pants and wear your shirt over the top to completely conceal it. There’s nothing dangling or exposed, which makes it job-site safe. Despite being compact and concealed, the airflow is impressive, even on the lowest setting. Both units have performed extremely well. I use mine clipped to the pram, move it around the house, and take it outside with me into the backyard. It’s been so practical. So many pros… and the only con? I didn’t buy enough, because the kids keep stealing it from me! I would definitely buy again and highly recommend the CapyCool bundle. It’s not just for tradies… it’s perfect for anyone who wants a quick, effective way to cool down. Ideal for work, the beach, the park, or at home. With a heatwave fast approaching, I needed this, and fast. I used the chat option and was connected to Amy immediately. I asked whether pick-up was available, as I’m also based in Sydney. Her only question was, “When do you need it?” 🙌🏼🙌🏼 She just needed to check stock, as items were selling quickly, especially with the sales on. Next thing, Amy had everything organised for me to collect the very next morning. I mentioned I have three kids under five and that mornings can be a little hectic, and she went above and beyond by arranging for someone to hand-deliver the order to my car. Very impressed with how much airflow this little thing creates. Was a bit skeptical because I thought it’ll just be moving hot air around, but turns out it actually does help a lot with heat relief. Maybe not a direct drop in temp, but definitely feels alot more comfortable and alot less sweaty. Great product, I’ll recommend this to a few mates as well

Honestly, it’s one of the best gadgets I’ve ever picked up. The fan clips on easily, runs quietly in the background, and pushes a surprising amount of air under my shirt. Even on medium speed it makes a real difference. A bit bulky, sure, but worth it. Just make sure you don't block the air vents with your shirt, which happened to me when i first got it and thought this thing was a dud!
Needed a fan that can handle a bit of knocks and dirt and picked this one up. Used it on a 35 degree day and was surprised by how well it performed. Ran it for hours and still had plenty of battery left by the evening. Definitely reliable and durable.
Got this as a gift from hubby and I really love it. I work at a beauty saloon and it can get very hot and stuffy, especially during the afternoons, sometimes almost umberable. I have been using it as a neck fan when not around customers and other times placing it on a bench as desk fan. Can get a little bit loud on the highest setting, but if there is ambient noise like music, people talking, its not really super noticeable

Did my research. We go to Lollapalooza in Chicago and the heat can be very oppressive. I was going to get a hand held fan but I wanted my hands to be free. The reviews on Amazon for similar products were mixed. Quality, durability and battery life were big concerns. I found Capycool. I ordered it and it came in time for the festival. I intended to clip it to my lululemon waist purse. I tried that and it was nice. Then I decided to put in around my neck with the included straps. Total game changer. When your face and head are cooled off you don’t feel nearly as hot. My makeup stayed on point the whole day. I was not dripping in sweat. This fan is well made and will last you a long time. Best purchase ever!

we used it on a recent trip to thailand and this fan is an absolute life saver in the humid muggy heat, whether we are walking around or just eating out, the fan is incredible and last all day. For the serious tradie!Needed for hot QLD summers, on the weekdays and the work weekends. But seriously, how good is the battery life on this thing!!! The clamp makes it easy to standup and clip on for camping or even watching the tv.
Received bracket and have tried it, absolutely perfect, allowed me to attach to a shelf at chest height, being able to rotate it 90 degrees gave me the option to angle the fan even more , love it .
It is a tough little clamp and will come in handy in many situations. You can definitely get creative in where you hang it. I chose the shower curtain rail and towel rail as my ensuite does not have a fan. It also works on my cupboard handles which is good during a power outage in the NQ weather. The only thing I’d change is to allow for a wider opening as I was unable to clamp it to my solid wood bed frame. This is the only reason it got 4 stars. Thank you for allowing me to test it.
Work's really well i am in a welding bay with no air flow this makes a big difference have put a filter on the intake to keep grinding dust out seams to be good quality have only had it for a few days

It's a great little piece of equipment. My wife is cold and I usually run pretty warm. So when I want a fan going I use my Capycool.

Got this last year as Xmas present and been using it almost everyday in the garage. It hasn’t missed a beat and battery life is still incredible. Whenever it gets a bit dirty from the dust etc, I just give the cover a bit of a rinse and it looks brand new, genius! Honestly this fan is amazing

Was cleaning out a storage unit without lighting, my portable lamp went out of battery. Out comes this belt fan, not only did it power the lamp, but it had its own little light too. Oh and yeah the fan function is great too, but this powerbank/light thing is low-key brilliant!
I know they claim 40 hours on this thing, and although I have not run it for 40 hours straight, I honestly believe it'll last that long (on the lowest setting anyway), which is crazy for such a little device. Very impressed. In the real world for me, I'd probably be using it at level 3 or 4, and I can confidently say it'll still last 15-16 hours no issues, more than enough for my needs
Our company tested 4 different kinds of waist fans and this one was the winner in the end. Good balance of weight, features and performance. One of the other ones we tried had a weird design flaw where the inlet was on the outside, which meant it was often blocked by the shirt.... We got a bunch for the team to try over the next month and will evaluate and if it goes well order more. One recommendation we have is that it would be good to have quick button to turn off the fan, rather than cycling through the modes.
Updated Review: After initially thinking this this was a total dud, after several back and forth emails with the capcool team trying to figure out the issue, turns out the cable i was using was the issue...changed different cable and it worked!!! thank you, got it as gift for me to deal with hot flushes and it's been working amazing last few days

Good stuff, I really like is the adjustable neck strap and waist hook, which keep the fan aimed at my face when I’m using it. The battery life is excellent, easily lasting a full workday. It’s handy that it can also double as a desk fan - at close range, level 1 works perfectly at an acceptable noise level, and I tend to stick to that setting since the fan gets a bit whiny at higher levels. The materials feel high quality, with a sturdy plastic body and a grippy silicone finish that makes it easy to hold. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The small fan can sound whiny at level 4 and above, which may become bothersome over time; the noise was less disruptive outdoors due to ambient sounds
Great product, easy to use, powerful and seriously impressive battery life. Works better for me indoors than outdoors in direct sunlight, although it still helps somewhat. It actually feels amazing when i can feel my back getting sticky and i just pop this on and within seconds its all good. Only gripe i have is that i have to go through all 5 speeds if i want to turn off, wish there was like a quick off button or something
