CapyCool Has Landed in Texas: Our New Arlington Warehouse Is Now Open

There is something pretty wild about sending a product halfway around the world and watching people on the other side genuinely embrace it.

When we first started shipping CapyCool products from Australia to the United States, we weren't entirely sure what to expect.

Shipping wasn't exactly cheap. Delivery took a little longer than we would have liked. Every order had to make the very long journey from Australia across the Pacific before eventually landing on a customer's doorstep in the US.

And yet, people kept ordering.

Not only that, they kept sending us photos, videos, reviews and messages showing us exactly how they were using their CapyCool gear.

So we decided it was time to make a pretty big move.

Our New Arlington, Texas Warehouse Is Officially Open 🇺🇸

CapyCool products are now stocked locally at our new warehouse in Arlington, Texas, ready for dispatch to customers across the United States.

For a relatively young Australian brand, this is a huge milestone.

What started with us taking a chance and shipping individual orders all the way from Australia has grown into something big enough for us to put inventory on the ground in America.

And we really have our early US customers to thank for that.

You were willing to give an Australian brand you may never have heard of a shot, even when your CapyCool had a fairly serious journey ahead of it before arriving at your door.

That support gave us the confidence to take the next step.

Now, rather than your fan enjoying its own international holiday before meeting you, most US orders can begin their journey from right here in Texas.

The most obvious advantage of our Arlington warehouse is simple: your CapyCool products are now much closer to you.

Keeping inventory within the United States means we can offer:

We didn't want to simply sell into America from the other side of the world forever. If we were going to seriously grow here, we wanted the infrastructure to properly support our customers here too.

One of the things that surprised us most as CapyCool grew in Australia was just how many different industries began finding uses for personal cooling.

Today, in Australia, we work with customers across industries including some of the country's largest mining companies, emergency services, construction and trades, transport, outdoor workforces, sporting organisations and other businesses where managing heat is a very real everyday challenge.

And that is another major reason Arlington matters.

Our US warehouse gives us the ability to better support American businesses, trade customers and organisations that need more than a couple of fans.

CapyCool was born under the Australian sun with a pretty simple idea: personal cooling should actually be practical.

Our products are designed around real-world situations where traditional cooling simply isn't available or practical.

You can't exactly drag an air conditioner onto a construction site.

You probably don't want to carry one around a theme park.

And last time we checked, most golf carts, horse floats, campsites and festival grounds aren't particularly generous with climate control either.

That's why we focus on portable cooling technology that can go where you go.

It's part of the CapyCool philosophy from the beginning: make staying comfortable simpler, more portable and a whole lot more practical.

The climates might be different, but Australia and the United States have something fairly important in common.

It gets seriously hot.

Our Arlington location puts CapyCool in a great position to fulfil orders across the United States while giving us a local base as we continue expanding.

It also brings us significantly closer to the people actually using our products.

That matters to us.

Some of our best product improvements have come directly from customer feedback and from seeing the weird, wonderful and genuinely clever ways people put our products to work.

We've seen CapyCool products used by tradies, travellers, campers, athletes, outdoor workers and people simply trying to survive an unbelievably hot afternoon.

Every new market teaches us something.

Now we get to see what America comes up with.

We're slightly excited. And possibly slightly concerned.

Opening Arlington isn't the finish line.

It's the starting point.

Local US inventory gives us the foundation to expand our product range, improve our shipping experience, work more closely with American businesses and continue building a proper CapyCool community in the United States.

Most importantly, it allows us to deliver on the same thing we've always tried to do in Australia:
